To launch this tentpole program, I led and collaborated with our print editorial, marketing, public relations, consumer marketing, and advertising teams. We created a multi-platform initiative that encouraged our audience to nominate and vote for the smartest shopper in America. The multi-wave program—which incorporated video submissions, social sharing, and user voting—launched in July 2014, and the winner was revealed on the TODAY show in November 2014.
